Great place delicious food awesome service I don't understand why they have a lot of bad reviews it's probably a competition I don't get it I am here having a great dinner hundreds of people around me everyone seems fine the stuff working so hard Have mercy on small businesses they trying hard to please everyone and also where are you going to get fresh made food for those pricing they have I have been here so many times and never had a bad experience Even if somethings not right I will give them a break and come back and talk about it with management

Please don't forget how much that business do for our community they always helping out

We went there as a family of five on a Saturday about two months ago.   There were plenty of tables and servers available,  but it took forever for our server to take our drink order.  I understand it takes awhile to receive food, which i liked.  I had spaghetti carbanara.  Just wish it had some other meat besides just bacon. Pretty expensive for noodles and bacon.  We had to find another server to get our drinks refilled on several occasions.  Then took forever to get the check and then to get card back.  Then we went again with another family last month but again service was very poor.

Final straw was when we went for a friend's birthday party last week.  We were a large group and when we went in we were told we had to pay a $20 cake fee to bring in a birthday cake. Makes no sense to lose $300+ from our party, by charging a cake fee.  We left instead of paying $20 cake fee.

We will just continue going to Cortinos in Mercedes which is much better anyways, even though it's less convenient because of the drive.

Nope.  Our experience is not reflective of the 4 star rating this restaurant has right now.

It started well with a greeting when we came in through the door.  It took a little time for the hostess to look at her seating chart, but, finally found a table for us.  We were led to a dirty table.  She did not say anything to us.  She made us stand around near other diners (most likely disturbing their dinner), and went off (without a word) to the hostess station.  We were left there not knowing if we should go back or wait.  She reappeared with a rag then proceeded to wipe the table down.  To give her credit, she did say, "Sorry for the wait."  Not to split hairs, it wasn't so much the "wait", it was the awkward place we were left to wait.

The server seemed more on the ball. He came out with the drinks and the food quite quickly.  But, compared to the service he extended the other patrons at other tables (taking away dirty dishes, serving more garlic knots for the same number of people as there were at our table, and taking care of the left-over box).  This last, he just gave the box to my son to take care of, when, in contrast, he did the same "service" himself for other diners.  What is up with that?

Also, there was a couple who was led in to sit at a middle-of-the-room table.  They asked to be moved to a window table.  They were flatly denied.  A few seconds later, another couple was led to the table they asked for.  And, no, there was no "reserved" sign on the table.

Little things that pile up make for an unenjoyable dining experience.  I am visiting the Valley and people heavily recommended this place.  I have to say, I am quite disappointed.  Thanks, but, no thanks!

Horrible Chef Salad take out, just lettuce, a few tomatoes and sparse meat. Bland, bland, bland. Italian dressing was even bland. Usually a great place, but fell way short tonight.

Last time I went I had the mushroom ravioli. It was cold but the flavor was there that's why I'm giving it that third star. The waiter took a very long time to get our drinks and there wasn't even a lunch crowd. I want to say there was about 7 people in that dining room alone. Also we asked for a high chair and it took him about 15 minutes to get it. This restaurant started off really strong and it was so good but now it just went down hill.
